Boost Your Mood With Aromatherapy
Feeling a bit down? Sometimes, a simple scent can turn your whole day around. Aromatherapy uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being, and it's easier to get started than you might think. Here are five uplifting essential oils to try:
Lavender: Known for its calming properties, lavender can help reduce stress and anxiety. It's like a soothing hug in a bottle.
Citrus (Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit): Bright and invigorating, citrus scents can boost your energy and uplift your mood. Perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up.
Peppermint: Refreshing and revitalizing, peppermint oil can enhance focus and curb fatigue. Great for those sluggish afternoons.
Ylang Ylang: With its sweet, floral aroma, ylang ylang promotes feelings of joy and relaxation. It's like a tropical getaway for your senses.
Rosemary: Not just for cooking! Rosemary can help improve clarity and stimulate the mind, helping you feel more alert.
Give one (or all) of these a try! Whether you add a few drops to a diffuser, take a relaxing bath, or simply inhale the scent, aromatherapy is a simple way to add a little happiness to your day.
You can also find essential oils for as little as $8 on Amazon!

7 Things to Know About Emergency Room Visits
We all become ill or injured at some point in our lives, and often these health issues may require an emergency room visit. Emergency rooms are open 24 hours a day for every day of the year.
An emergency room is part of a hospital. They are equipped with life saving services. If necessary, after an evaluation, you may be admitted to the hospital.
Emergency rooms triage, meaning the most ill patients are seen first. If you are in the emergency room for a non-life-threatening issue, you may wait a very long time to be seen as other patients more ill than you keep coming in.

Longevity Tip of the Day
Frozen is fine — You can eat a balanced diet even when fresh fruits and vegetables are out of season because frozen can be as good as or even better for life-extending nutrients. British scientists found that fresh fruit can lose nutrients after three days of refrigeration, while frozen fruits don’t suffer the same fate. Another study similarly found that frozen blueberries contained more vitamin C than fresh ones.
Slang Phrase of the Day
Phrase: “Glow up”
Meaning: This means a makeover or transformation from bad to good.
In a sentence: “When Lila got back from the spa, she looked relaxed, radiant, beautiful — a total glow up.”
