Good morning from RetireHub,
It's Tuesday, and today we're diving into how you can turn neighbors into friends with a simple click. As always, we have exciting deals, tips, and more to brighten your day!
Brace yourself... because you may end up throwing out a lot of the food in your fridge after you finish reading today’s email.
You see, Maryland physician Dr. Brian Paris says many so-called "health foods" are actually the cause of sore, stiff joints that make you feel miserable.
"If you’re in constant, chronic, excruciating agony and don't feel well, it has to do with what you’re eating... and just as important... what you’re not eating but should eat," says Dr. Paris.
Dr. Paris found certain foods marketed as being healthy… actually contain a toxic nutrient your immune system sees as the enemy.
So, every time you take a bite of one of these foods... your immune system unleashes its "army" to attack this nutrient.
And since this nutrient enters your bloodstream once it’s digested... your immune system starts attacking even healthy tissue and organs... causing burning in your joints and muscles.
The good news is... this problem is EASY to fix.
"You don't have to completely change your diet. Just eliminating these 5 foods from your diet - including a certain kind of vegetable - will do wonders to your life," he says.

Longevity Tip of the Day
The 80% Rule — If you want to reach 100, put down the fork, says Dan Buettner, who studies longevity hot spots around the world, such as Okinawa, Japan. Buettner found that the oldest Okinawans stop eating when they feel 80 percent full. A National Institutes of Health-funded study similarly found that cutting back calories reduced blood pressure, cholesterol and insulin resistance.

Multivitamins Could Help Save Coral Reefs
Researchers at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution are testing nutrient-infused tiles that may give coral reefs a much-needed boost, just like a good multivitamin! These special tiles are designed to help corals resist stress from warming oceans and severe storms. The idea is to embed them into an artificial reef next to a struggling natural reef, creating a thriving habitat that attracts not just corals but also sponges and other sea life. It's an exciting step forward in coral conservation!
