When the sun is shining, I enjoy getting outside with my rescue dog Smokey. To make the most out of your walk or hike and to prepare your body, there are some important exercises to incorporate to feel your best.
How Retirees Can Keep Federal Employee Health Benefits
If you work for the U.S. government, you probably signed up for the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) program when you were hired. The FEHB provides coverage for medical expenses, including prescription medications and dental and vision care. You can also sign up for a Flexible Spending Account and choose from three life insurance options.
But you won’t be on the job forever. While you can keep your federal employee health insurance after retirement, there are some requirements you’ll need to be aware of as you start planning.

Just add water — Staying adequately hydrated — measured by urine that’s light yellow or straw colored — can also help prolong a healthy life by reducing the risk of bladder and colon cancer and keeping kidneys in tip-top shape. Bonus: It might even help you lose weight. Researchers at the University of Illinois found that those who sipped more H2O ended up eating 68 to 205 fewer calories per day.

The first big US offshore wind farm is open — here’s what’s next
America’s first utility-scale offshore wind farm is finally finished, marking an important milestone in what’s shaping up to be a busy year for the emerging U.S. industry.
On Thursday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) announced the completion of South Fork Wind, a 132-megawatt project by Danish energy giant Ørsted and Boston-based utility Eversource. All 12 of the wind farm’s towering turbines are now in place and producing enough clean electricity to power roughly 70,000 homes in Long Island, New York.
11-Year-Old Boy Hears For the First Time as Scientists Get Closer to Finding a Cure for Hearing Loss
Aissam Dam, an 11-year-old boy who was born deaf due to a genetic issue, has heard for the first time as a result of a gene therapy experiment headed by Akouos Inc, part of Eli Lilly & Co.
Hearing loss, especially those you’re born with, has always been known as irreversible and used to only be temporarily assisted by hearing aids and cochlear implants. But, the breakthrough in gene therapy has challenged this belief, offering hope for millions suffering from hearing loss.
