SENIOR LIVING NEWS
As winter slowly turns into spring, most people turn their thoughts to warmer weather, flowers in the park and, probably, the birds and the bees. These are all good things to welcome, in my view.
There is something very soft and peaceful about such an evening. I find it very calming. And it feels like a bonus in your day, a little ‘extra time’ that is not usually available.
If, like most people, you had multiple employers during your career, it can be even tougher to keep track of every retirement account you have.
Key Takeaways
•If you’ve switched jobs at least once, you may have retirement savings you’ve forgotten in the form of 401(k) accounts and pensions.
•There are tools you can use to perform a quick 401(k) search. You can also look for pensions using the Department of Labor’s online tool.
•These tools will only help you find the funds. You’ll have to use the information to claim them.
Get a pet—yes, they can be expensive and housebreaking is a lot of work. But did you know having a pet has many health benefits? Having a pet, especially if you live alone, reduces loneliness, improves our mood (they are so entertaining), provide comfort, and give us routine and a sense of purpose. Plus, even the grumpiest old man turns into a big softy around his pet.
Phrase: “Serving realness“
Meaning: Finding its origins in Drag Queen culture, “serving realness” means fully embodying a different persona.
In a sentence: “She sure was serving realness during that karaoke performance, I thought I was watching the real thing up there!“

The discovery comes 16 months after a study from the same hospital found that AI could diagnosis cancer in chest X-rays at least as good as a board-certified radiologist, but noted that many radiology departments are understaffed.
