Nvidia Is Worth Nearly 19 Times Every Silver Miner Combined The whole silver mining industry is valued at about $0.29 trillion. Nvidia alone is worth $5.41 trillion. That's why modest inflows can send silver stocks sharply higher. Our research team's free report explains how the silver market really moves, and where the opportunity is now. Men, You've Been Misinformed Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once. Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up. Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. | Dear Joanne | Your questions, her wisdom — Joanne’s here with thoughtful advice, warm humor, and a listening ear for whatever’s on your mind. | | One of retirement’s great pleasures is going on vacation without having to request permission from someone younger than your luggage. | Finally, we can travel when we please, stay as long as we like, and spend an entire afternoon doing absolutely nothing in a different zip code. This is called “experiencing the culture,” particularly if a drink with a little umbrella arrives with it. | But the finest vacation activity requires no reservations, no special equipment, and no waiver releasing a tour operator from all responsibility for your safe return. It is also the funniest part of my day - People-watching. | Give me a shaded chair, a clear view of the pool, and sunglasses dark enough to conceal professional interest, and my afternoon is booked. I will receive views which will provide me with enough story lines to write columns for a full year. | The entertainment begins early with the Pool Chair Reservation Society. These cruise vacationers rise at 5:45 a.m. to place towels on six loungers, then disappear until Thursday. Apparently, a paperback and one sandal constitute a legally binding property deed. | I admire their commitment. I spent forty years getting up early for work so I could retire and watch someone else get up early to defend a pool lounger that they will never use for relaxation. Where are these people the entire time their book pages are flapping in the wind? My guess is the buffet, the bar, the casino, the spa and, did I mention the buffet? | While on the topic, let’s talk about the breakfast buffet, where civilization is held together by a sneeze guard. A man with a plate the size of a satellite dish stands directly in front of the bacon, considering his options as though negotiating a multi-million-dollar merger. Behind him, twelve people quietly roll their eyes. | Nearby, someone is attempting to operate the conveyor-belt toaster. The bread goes in pale, comes out pale, goes in again, and then emerges burnt to a crisp. Those are obviously your only two choices. I shake my head and move on. | I always take a seat with a view of the dessert table. There is suspense and a first-hand experience of character development. Until a beautiful, size zero, 25-year old looks over the entire dessert area and selects two green grapes and three almonds. I look down at my ice cream, chocolate cake and chocolate covered marshmallows… a long sigh emerges. You pay extra for that type of guilt on a cruise. | Young couples provide another rewarding category. They arrive at a scenic overlook and spend twenty minutes photographing each other trying to look spontaneous. “Walk toward me.” “Now look away.” “Laugh.” “No, naturally.” By the time they’ve captured the joy of being there, we’ve enjoyed the view, read the historical marker, and located a restroom. Experience counts. | My favorite is the family attempting a group photograph. One child is crying, another has vanished, Dad is carrying enough supplies to establish a small colony, and Mom is saying, “Can we please just have one nice picture?” We understand. Somewhere in our own albums is a photograph titled Wonderful Family Vacation in which everyone looks like they have just recently been subpoenaed. | Cruise ships offer particularly rich material. On formal night, people who spent the afternoon wearing shirts that say “BEER ME” appear dressed for an ambassador’s reception. By nine o’clock, they’re back at the buffet, carrying cheesecake with the solemn concentration of a transplant surgeon. After all, they haven’t eaten in 2-1/2 hours. | And there is always one passenger who announces, “We’ve done thirty-seven cruises.” This is useful information. It saves you the trouble of asking them any questions, because the next thirty minutes are already arranged with their predetermined stories. | Of course, successful people-watching requires discretion. Don’t point. Don’t stare. And don’t whisper, “Would you look at that?” until you’ve confirmed they are not wearing hearing aids. | I think we should have a “Dear Joanne” group cruise. Who’s with me?? | Email me this week at [email protected] and let me know your people-watching stories. | Now where did I put those sunglasses?? | Joanne | |

| | | On this day in 1797, the USS Constitution was launched in Boston Harbor, marking the debut of what would become the world’s oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat. Nicknamed “Old Ironsides” for her resilience in battle, the ship famously deflected British cannonballs during the War of 1812, solidifying her legendary status. Designed to outmatch enemy frigates in both speed and firepower, she became a symbol of American strength and innovation at sea. Today, the Constitution remains docked in Boston as a living museum and cherished piece of maritime history. |

| From the RetireHub Archives: Which Investment Goal Feels Most Important for You Right Now? |
|
| | According to our latest poll, the top priority for most readers is preserving savings and protecting against losses, with 41% choosing this as their most important goal. Another 24% said their focus is on keeping up with inflation and staying financially flexible, while generating steady income came in close behind at 22%. Fewer respondents prioritized legacy planning or expressed uncertainty, but it’s clear that security and adaptability are at the heart of today’s financial mindset. Whether you’re cautious, growth-focused, or still figuring it out, you’re not alone. | OUR FAVORITE COMMENTS | “I would like a combination of all of them. Working primarily on the first three.” “I have a small life insurance policy ($10,000 payable from onset of policy) and gave my son instructions to research cheap cremation options and no funeral. He's to spread my ashes over any body of water accessible when I pass.” “Retirement, although a wonderful time in life, is also somewhat scary as we all need to think about additional income apart from social security. I hear about so many people who only have social security to rely on and they are barely making ends meet. We are trying to preserve our savings, but also looking at how we can generate income from our investments.”
| | Pack Smart, Hit the Road: A Stylish Strategy for Your Next Multi‑Stop Trip | Traveling by car through multiple destinations brings its own set of joys—and packing challenges. One approach that keeps the process smooth is to embrace flexibility. For example, swap your usual wheeled suitcase for a soft‑sided duffel; its adaptability makes it easier to handle hotel stays, cabins, or even rustic lodges without the hassle of rolling over gravel or maneuvering tight spaces. | To simplify outfit changes and reduce clutter, try using colour‑coded packing cubes—label each one for specific items like undergarments, tops, bottoms, and accessories. Rolling knit‐wear separates helps maintain comfort on long drives and keep you looking tidy with minimal effort. Make use of the car’s extra space by storing bulky items like boots or coats in the trunk, and keep toiletries and chargers organized in clear zip bags, ready to grab at a moment’s notice. | This method isn’t just about packing less—it’s about freeing yourself to enjoy the road. With each stop no longer a chore but an invitation, you’ll spend more time exploring and less time wrestling with suitcases. Whether you’re solo or with companions, this flexible strategy lets you move with ease, maintain your style, and stay organized no matter where your journey takes you. | READ MORE | |
